Day 1: Camel Ride, Sandboarding & Night in the Desert
Our desert trip starts around 10:00 AM from your stay in Merzouga. We’ll take you on camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Next, we’ll stop and have a freshly prepared lunch in the shade of Oasis in the heart of the desert .
Later, we’ll continue riding to the desert camp, where you’ll have the chance to try sandboarding or simply relax and enjoy the gorgeous views. As the sun sets, we’ll enjoy the sky turning into beautiful colors especially if the weather is good.
We’ll then have a traditional dinner prepared by locals, followed by a party full of drumming and singing around a campfire. After a fun night, you’ll sleep in a private tent under the starry sky.
Day 2: Sunrise & Return to Merzouga
The next day, we recommend you wake up early to watch the incredible sunrise over the dunes. After freshening up, we’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading back to Merzouga.
You can ride camels again or take a 4×4 car back to town. The excursion ends at your hotel, leaving you with wonderful memories.
