4x4 Merzouga Sahara Tour ittinerary

Our desert adventure will start in the morning, picking you up from your accommodation in Merzouga or nearby areas. We’ll hop into our 4×4 and start our journey through the desert dunes. Our first stop is Serji Lake, a seasonal lake that forms in the desert after rainfall. If there’s water, we might spot flamingos and other birds that come here to rest.

Next, we’ll visit a nomadic family living in the desert. They’ll welcome us into their tents and share stories about their simple way of life. It’s a great chance to learn how they survive in the Sahara.

After meeting the nomads, we’ll continue our way to the old Mifis lead mines. Long ago, workers used to dig here to find lead. The mines are no longer active, but they offer great views of the desert.

Our last stop is the village of Hassi Labied. Here, we’ll walk through green gardens where locals grow vegetables and fruits using smart watering systems. Finally, our adventure ends by dropping you off at your hotel or riad or desert camp
